From an article in The Era, January 13, 1867, we learn that Story himself presented “an amusing and interesting lecture,” about his “well painted” panorama at the Corn Exchange in Stourbridge (accompanied by a Mr. Parleet at the piano): a detail that may retrospectively confirm that Story himself was the “lecturer” of the Garibaldi panorama, disguised under the nickname of M. Bianco.
